The Virtual
PhD-Program "Knowledge Acquisition and Knowledge Exchange with New
Media" (VGK) is a graduate studies' program in cognitive
psychology. It is sponsored by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft
(DFG), and it is carried by professors from the universities in
Freiburg, Münster and Tübingen.
The PH.D.
Programm ended in 2008.
That´s why we can´t accept applications any
longer.
The Ph.D. Students
have met the following basic requirements:
- an outstanding
diploma/master or an equivalent academic degree preferably in
psychology
- interest in the
guiding themes of the program
- excellent
knowledge of research methods and statistics
- experimental
research experience
- working-knowledge of English and
German
- promotion
location: Freiburg, Münster or Tübingen
For the time
being, the stipends will run for two years. The scholarship for
PhD-students amounts to 1.000 Euro per month (incl. material), plus
a family allowance if necessary. According to the rules of the DFG,
the scholarship can be increased up to 50% for especially qualified
graduates (e.g. the best 15% of a year).
